Kebeko
Kebeko creates an eclectic, genuine and original sound inspired by the magical vibe of its birth city, Montreal. The lyrics are multilingual but mostly in French and the music is inspired by various styles including funk, cumbia, reggae, compa, soukous and rock, trickling through traditional Quebecois folk. One could qualify Kebeko’s music as ‘’world rock’’: a fusion of urban world music with a rock attitude. On stage, Kebeko exhibits an infectious energy, produces diabolical rhythms and displays a perfect symbiosis between musical virtuosity and catchy songs. Versatile in their song writing, Kebeko makes the crowd roar with ‘’Maximili’’ and expresses social concerns with ‘’War Of The Worlds’’.
